Alice Zhao graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Majoring in Criminology and Japanese) from the University of Queensland. She subsequently obtained her Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Queensland University of Technology. During her time as a law student, Alice accumulated over 6 years of experience working in various fields of the legal industry including conveyancing, family law, wills & estates, migration, commercial law, personal injury, and civil litigation.  She is now admitted as a solicitor in the Supreme Court of Queensland and the High Court of Australia.

While Alice is passionate about the law, she is also dedicated to volunteering and helping out her community. She has volunteered on a regular basis at several different organisations including the Australian Red Cross, the Tzu Chi Foundation, and Cystic Fibrosis Queensland. Due to her cultural heritage and education background, Alice has excellent language skills in English, Chinese and Japanese. This has enabled her to effectively communicate with people from diverse backgrounds both at work and in a social context.
